1. Crochet Braids
Also known as a latch-hook weave, this style is easy to manage, and is a great protective style. The style itself is $75. Synthetic hair works best for crochets, and requires 2-3 packs of bulk braiding hair which typically runs between $7-$12 in most beauty supply stores. Your hair will be cornrowed back, and the weave will be installed with a latch hook needle. You have the option of leaving some of your own hair out for a more natural look. I've had clients who SWEAR by this style. It allows your scalp to breathe, and you can easily moisturize your natural hair. This style takes about 3 hours to install, and I ask that my clients have clean, detangled hair before I begin.
I'm offering a special through December for $100 box braids. These braids take about 6 hours to complete, and can last you 2-3 months with a touch up. You'll need about 10 packs of kanekalon braiding hair (just over $20). These braids are perfect for the summer, but also work well in the winter to protect your hair from the drying cold air.
3. Sew-ins
Depending on what type of hair you use, you can easily get a sew-in for under $100. Most synthetic hair wefts cost anywhere from 10-20 dollars a pack. Human hair wefts can cost anywhere from $30-$200 a pack. It's completely up to you as to what type of hair you'd like to use. Most of the time, the human hair is worth the investment, because you can reuse that hair for multiple installs. If you like to switch up your style often, I suggest using the synthetic or synthetic/human blend hair. Basic full sew-ins with Destiny Braids will run you about $75, and can last you up to 4 months with a touch-up.
4. Braided Updos
Braided updos are great for all hair types, and can last about a month with proper maintenance. The kanekalon hair works best, and can easily be taken down and reused. I offer this style for $45, and it takes about an hour to complete.
5. Cornrows
Cornrows are a quick and easy style that can last about a month with proper maintenance. They're perfect for growing your natural hair, and can be braided into many styles. You'll use about 3 packs of kanekalon hair, and typically these braids take about 2 hours to complete. Price: $30-$40
